—Loretta[1]

Coincounter Loretta Vescovi is the current overseer of Vuurstahl’s paper plants in Selvaggia, and its functional leader. She is the first Selvaggian overseer in history, something that has caused consternation both in the Imperial core and Selvaggia.[2] Perhaps in an attempt to appease those in the Empire who have concerns over a non-Imperial as the governor of a colony, Loretta is prone to giving in to pressure from her superiors and other governors.[3] There are rumors that her title, the Coincounter, was assigned to her due to the belief that she was drawn to the position by the money offered to her, though when questioned by Heartbreaker Sieghild Schrotter, she denied them; to her, it was never about the money, but when the people of Selvaggia turned on her, it was the only comfort she had.[4]

After the latest Selvaggian uprising, Loretta's position has been called into question for the perceived negligence that allowed the revolution to come to fruition, including allowing herself to be taken hostage.[5] Sieghild suggested she flee the Empire and start a new life, though it's yet to be seen if the Coincounter will take the chance.[6]
