The god of the people of Ayatsuri, Kairaishi is said to have created the universe in accordance with His grand designs. Because of this, worship of Kairaishi tends to center around the interpretation of His will, and fulfilling it to the best of one’s capabilities. Deviations from interpretations of scripture are heavily stigmatized among the people of Ayatsuri, and many have been forced to leave their home due to persecution for perceived slights against the will of Kairaishi.
Despite the pressure His worship places on His followers, the majority of Ayatsuri citizens find comfort in His teachings. Many who would otherwise feel lost and without purpose find solace in knowing that even they have a place in their god's grand plan, and festivals in Kairaishi's name are held regularly throughout the year.
