Magnum Opus Interstellar is an oddity among Imperial manufacturers. Whereas most dedicate their works to the honor of Imperial history, MOI honors their frames with the names of magicians throughout history, a move that makes them unpopular among the general magic-fearing population. The frames themselves do not help matters, as they often possess abilities that appear magical at a glance, despite being based on Imperial technology. This owes to its founder's strange fascination with the arcane, leading to a design ethos of trying to embody it in his work. His descendants continue to defend his reputation from accusations of witchcraft, arguing that, regardless of intent, MOI's frames, more than most other war machines, are ideal for closing the gap between Imperial forces and foreign mages.
