The late younger sister of Heartpiercer Micah Cadenzavna, Serena Cadenzavna requested Military-class assignment, despite her gentle and kind-hearted nature, out of an admiration for her older sister. She took to her training well, with many saying she had the potential to become an even better pilot than her older sister, though the humble Serena was always quick to deny this. She was also known among her classmates for her helpfulness, often mentoring younger pilots who struggled. All in all, she was beloved by many.
Unfortunately, her life came to an end when she turned 18, and became eligible for augmentation. Unbeknownst to the surgeons operating on her, she held an allergy to a component of the mechanical muscle enhancers they installed, leading to rapid-onset terminal augmentation rejection. The only mercy was that she died while still under anaesthetic-- a painless end, for however small a comfort that was to her grieving family. Her death shattered her older sister's faith in Vuurstahl's government, resulting in her immediate reassignment from Military to Entertainment.
