—Faustina[1] |
Faustina Salvius, known to many in Maris Tranquillitas as the legendary wizard, was a magical prodigy, having become an accomplished mage by age 10, and having her first registered spell at age 13. She went on to become the youngest scholar in the magic tower in history, and has tutored many of the most well-known modern magic researchers. Her skill in magic was only part of what earned her her title; Faustina also spent every moment she wasn't required in the tower traveling Tempestas to learn as many of its schools of magic as she could, and has mastered every known style of casting in the world. She met controversy, however, when she chose her last student, Solus Internus, a promising young scholar who was nonetheless born dry, and thus disqualified from becoming a member of the tower.[2] Shortly after he left her care, she was disbarred, under suspicion of untoward conduct towards the head of the tower. Now, her whereabouts are a secret to most, by her own design; if her former students knew she was wandering Tempestas, a shell of her former glory, she wouldn’t know how to come back from that.
