One of the youngest GMS subsidiaries, HORUS arose during Vuurstahl's post-war diversification as the original developers of modern sophisticated artificial intelligence. Though they are quite protective over the secrets of the technology’s origin, the fact is that HORUS quickly became a household name in the following AI boom, and the company soon had the resources to explore a wider range of products. As such, despite their apparent ties to the diversification of GMS’s product lines, it was only a matter of time before HORUS explored the war machine market.
HORUS designs tend to be more unconventional than those of other manufacturers, and in fact, the capabilities of many of its frames are reminiscent of magical technology. While their product has nowhere near the destructive power of the notorious weapons of the War of Fire, there are rumors that HORUS was formed not for the sake of its president’s profits, but so, if news of GMS experimenting with magical technology were to leak to the broader world, they would have a tail to cut off to save face.
