The middle Ritter sibling, Truthseeker Yorick Ritter was, however briefly, the heir to the Earthforger title after Helena renounced her claim to become the Shieldbreaker. Though he showed some small amount of aptitude for engineering, he recognized from a young age that his passion was outshone by his younger sister Stella, and had already been prepared to follow Helena’s lead even before the war. His life was changed, however, when the War of Fire reached its brutal conclusion, and his elder sister never returned from the battlefield. He took a vow of pacifism, finally formally abandoning Harrison Armory to take on a new title as the Truthseeker. He left Vuurstahl on a journey of self-discovery and enlightenment to find a future for Tempestas without war and suffering, a journey that continues to this day.
