The youngest child of the Earthforger family, Scraptinker Stella Ritter has made a home for herself in the modern Harrison Armory making not war machines, but conveniences for daily life. This has put her at odds with her mother, who wants her to succeed her as head of the Armory. Life at the top holds no appeal for Stella, who feels more at home in her workshop with her fellow engineers, making new contraptions that are ostensibly useful, though her works tend to carry certain eccentricities. Though they don’t show it, her coworkers bear some resentment towards her, knowing that she’s privileged to even have a choice in what she does. Still, it’s hard to hold too much animosity towards someone so clearly excited in her work.
